I’ve kept a travel journal for as long as I’ve taken big trips abroad and never shared it with a soul, not even my travel companions.  Once I started to make my oftentimes obscure trips a regular occurrence, I realized that I was handily doling out tips and stories from my adventures abroad.  Then I realized, I’m already scribbling my own recounts of my trip, why not share them with the world.  I realize everyone and their mom has a blog these days (digital girl joining the forces 5 years later), but between my trips around the world and Doug’s and my growing MLB ice cream helmet collection (hence the name of the blog), I do have some unique stories to tell.

So I figured, it’s finally time…enjoy 🙂
